Finding the right flooring for each room is a difficult task, as the choices in terms of design and materials have to perfectly match the layout of the house, its interior design and furniture. The answer can be found in high quality wood flooring, like Cadorin's, one of best European wood planking producers and a pioneer with more than 30 years of experience in creating three-layer solid wood planking. These three-layered solid wood planks replace the common single-layered solid wood planks. Cadorin offers the best modules planks on the market, thanks to an innovative production system allowing the complete customisation of the flooring to the needs and features of the house. Recognised by the designers for its versatility and wide array of design solutions, the Chevron 45o parquet floor, known also as Hungarian point or French Herringbone, is brushed with Dolomia Grey finishes and guarantees the outstanding results we are going to explore in this Ideabook.

1. The Dolomia Grey finishing

With a vast range of grey nuances, the Dolomia Grey finishing created by Cadorin reproduces the look of the fine Dolomia Stone, directly applied on brushed European oak planks, bringing about a classic, timeless appeal to house flooring. Cadorin's revolutionary herringbone installation system in the result a disruptive approach, switching from the traditional installation of small wood planks to larger planks that bring to flooring a more contemporary feel, and empowering interior designers and architects with more freedom and a wider range of design opportunities.

2. Quality and sustainable wood

The Modules Plank collection is characterised by the rich diversity of materials and the high quality of the woods selected by Cadorin. Generally speaking, wood is already among the most sustainable and eco-friendly raw materials for housing, but Cadorin also adds a proprietary production system complying with the most advanced standards in terms of sustainability. The wood is produced within a short distance from Cadorin's production premises, reducing the transport-related emissions. Plus, every step of its production cycle is certified and traceable: the whole cycle respects the best European green and eco-friendly production practices and standards.

3. Three-layer solid wood planking

Cadorin's proprietary production system of these three-layered wood planking modules enables tailor-made design and installation flooring processes, both technically efficient, durable and aesthetically stunning. The whole cycle of production takes place in the Italian premises of Cadorin, where the planks are created. The upper layer of the planks is made by a single wooden plank 4.5 to 5 mm thick, the central insertion is composed by transversal strips of spruce, while the lower level is made with larch or with the same solid wood of the superficial layer: this three level, crossed structure guarantees a perfect balance of the planks and their outstanding durability.
